Anyway, over there in the corner you see the most beautiful woman you have ever seen in your life. Everything about her is perfect. She’s on her own. You should go and introduce yourself. Go and talk to her. Yet for some reason, you sit there paralysed.
You can’t move, you cannot get up and speak to her. Something is holding you back. You start to panic and worry about what you’re going to say. You worry about looking stupid. Then you worry about being rejected. And before you can summon the courage, somebody else beats you to it and she ends up in the company of another man. You go home on your own, dejected.
